Claire Jia is a Los-Angeles based writer originally from Chicago currently working on AWKWAFINA IS NORA FROM QUEENS. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Reductress, The Establishment, The Rumpus, and more. Claire graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College and has worked on shows such as FRESH OFF THE BOAT and GANGSTERS OF SHANGHAI. Her parents are from Beijing, and there’s nothing she loves more than haggling for stationary in a chaotic Beijing marketplace.
